Closure phase

To ensure a clear closure, we have a separate phase where the project is closed and experiences are fed back.

Some important steps:
• Note the achievement of project objectives and outcome, check off against the project arena
• Note remaining items, define how they should be handled and a person responsible for each item
• Hold a lessons-learned seminar and celebrate the project closure
• Document and spread experiences
• Close all project formalities (financing, project accounts, etc.)
• Describe how and when the fulfillment of business objectives should be measured and who is responsible
• Turn over responsibility for the project's results to the internal receiver
• Inform stakeholders of the future contact people
• Formally close the project
