Aims

The aim of this course is to give participants a deeper understanding of the role of the project manager and to develop their ability to communicate, both within the project and with external contacts.

Leading a project team, with responsibility for their own as well as others' work, puts great demands on the project manager's ability to create a framework for effective communication.

Using knowledge gained from this course, participants will be better able to bring their influence to bear, both on their surroundings and in the project. They will then be able to mantle their role with strengthened self-confidence.

Format

This course is held in English and carried out as an in-house training program. The course mixes practical skills-training with personal feedback. The course lectures are interactive and the participants' own experiences are highlighted and explored. 

Target group

Current or future project managers and subproject managers who belong to the same company or organization. The participants ought to have gone through some basic project training (e.g. Applied project management) preferably in combination with some years of practical experience.

Scope

The content and length of this course is adapted to the specific requirements of the customer. It is often a four-day course divided up into two sessions, which enables the participants to try out new leadership skills in their own work environment. Due to its orientation towards personal training, the number of participants in this course will be maximized to 14.
