About open training
Is it possible to provide general training in project management?
Absolutely! But not a course based solely on one general example, which all the participants learn to apply in the same way. Real life is far more complex than that. These days, most managers realize that there is no single model for project management, but that it depends greatly on the project environment.
Our courses are always based on your everyday work situation. If possible, feel free to bring your own project as a practical case to work with during the course, or use your own daily situations as an example in the course. Your course leaders are also consultants at Wenell, and alternate instruction with hands-on consulting. With their experience, they can give you practical, useful tips for your daily work.
Bringing together many who work in or with projects
Each year, we have the honor of seeing some 1,000 participants in our open training programs in Sweden. All of them have a strong will to develop their own project management skills, either by learning more or by fine-tuning their behavior in their role as project manager.
Since this is the common denominator in our groups, you will find plenty of opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues who may well have been in the same situation you are. They may also be able to give you new perspectives on your own methods, through their experience with different project environments.
If you don’t know which course to take and which course provider to choose, ask around at your company or organization if anyone is familiar with Wenell. Most likely you’ll find one or more who have participated in a Wenell course before. Those are our best sales representatives. We don’t have any of our own - and we’re kind of proud of that.
