Avoid surprises!



Working in projects involves working with risks and uncertainties. The way in which these are treated is often a matter of decisive importance for the final outcome of a project. Risk management means a continuous processing of risks. Many things have to be carried out simultaneously. On the one hand, regular project work must be planned and executed; on the other, any risk threatening the project must be identified, assessed, and if possible, removed.

Risk analysis


To be effective, risk management requires that risk analyses are carried out repeatedly while the project is in progress and that the analysis leads to action plans to counteract unwanted disturbances.

Risk analyses are used to improve the likelihood of attaining project objectives. By encouraging an attitude where not only the known and expected is dealt with, but also the unwanted is handled, the prospects for a project are improved considerably.
