Activity workflow

Activities are simple tasks of small extent with low uncertainty and little need for coordination. The method of working is inspired by the project format but it is more informal than those of projects and assignments. Often one person alone carries out much of the work.

The person responsible for the activity writes an activity description, which is approved by the closest concerned line manager. The approved activity description constitutes decision to realize and bring the activity to an end.
